Estonia Gaming License

Home » Estonia Gaming License

Estonia is a small country in Northern Europe with a population of just over 1.3 million people. Despite its size, Estonia has a thriving gaming and gambling industry, which is regulated by the Estonian Tax and Customs Board. In order to operate a gaming or gambling business in Estonia, a company must obtain a license from the Tax and Customs Board.

The process of obtaining a gaming or gambling license in Estonia is relatively straightforward, but there are several requirements that must be met in order to be eligible. First, the applicant must be a legal entity registered in Estonia. This means that the company must be registered with the Estonian Commercial Register and have a valid Estonian Business Registration Code.

Once the company is registered, it must then apply for a license from the Tax and Customs Board. In order to do this, the company must submit a written application, which must include detailed information about the company, its owners, and its activities. The application must also be accompanied by a number of documents, including:

A copy of the company’s articles of association
A copy of the company’s financial statements for the past three years
A certificate of no criminal record for the company’s owners and directors
A certificate of good standing from the company’s home country
Once the application has been submitted, the Tax and Customs Board will review it to ensure that all of the necessary requirements have been met. If the application is approved, the company will be issued with a gaming or gambling license, which will be valid for a period of five years.

There are several different types of gaming and gambling licenses that can be obtained in Estonia, depending on the nature of the business. These include licenses for:

Online gaming, which covers activities such as online casinos, sports betting, and poker

Land-based gaming, which covers activities such as casinos, slot machines, and bingo halls

Lotteries, which covers activities such as raffles, sweepstakes, and other forms of lottery

Each of these licenses has its own specific requirements and restrictions, which must be carefully followed in order to avoid any potential legal problems.
